The dog is considered man's best friend. And it's no wonder, because his loyalty, intelligence, devotion and passion reward us more than enough. There is simply nothing better than a long walk together and seeing the joy of his dog doing it. Or simply cuddling and relaxing at home. In addition, of course, your dog gives you back many times over the love you give him.
And although your faithful friend loves you unconditionally, he is of course always happy about a treat in between. But it should be tasty and above all healthy! And that's exactly what our CBD dog cookies are, because as a supplementary food they contain tasty duck meat and the vital substance cornucopia amaranth as well as salmon oil and a highly effective herb mix. The healthy treats are refined with hemp flower powder - with a natural content of 2.5% highly effective CBD. But the very best is: Every single cookie was "handmade", i.e. handmade with a lot of love!
Let's take a closer look at the unique recipe of our CBD dog cookies. Let's start with CBD, a natural substance from the cannabis plant. Everyone is probably familiar with cannabis, not least because of another substance that - along with about 500 other substances - is also found in this plant: THC - also known as tetrahydrocannabinol. THC is psychoactive and therefore makes you "high". In contrast, cannabidiol (CBD), which is also contained in cannabis, is completely different. CBD is also a so-called cannabinoid, but it is non-psychoactive and therefore does not intoxicate. Instead, CBD offers a huge range of exciting health-promoting properties.
The reason for CBD's incredibly diverse mode of action is: it interacts with our dog's nervous system. More specifically, with a part of the nervous system - the so-called "endocannabinoid" system. How the whole thing works exactly, you can read in the detailed product description about our CBD oil.
Fact is: The effect of CBD in dogs is similarly broad as in humans, because like humans, dogs and every other mammal possess such an endocannabinoid system. And so, consequently, several studies have shown that CBD in dogs, as in humans, can also contribute to the nutritional support of general well-being and the associated general activity and zest for life.
Not without reason, therefore, more and more veterinarians like to rely on the help of nature in the context of nutritional advice to maintain the health and quality of life of our favorite.
Speaking of veterinarians: Our dog cookies have been developed with the help of veterinarians and consist of high-quality CBD-containing flower powder - obtained from German commercial hemp, which is naturally grown 100% pesticide-free. Of course, our dog cookies do not contain any intoxicating THC.
In addition, each individual cookie contains a cornucopia of various vital substances - provided by the tasty and easily digestible grain of the Inca: amaranth. The term "grain" could be somewhat misleading, because amaranth is not actually a grain biologically - even though it bears a certain resemblance to cereals. In truth, however, amaranth is a so-called pseudocereal that is gluten-free and therefore ideally suited for sensitive dogs that tend to have allergies, for example. Whether puppies or adult four-legged friends - they all benefit nutritionally from the almost inexhaustible vital substance content of the super grain amaranth.
Thus the extremely healthy pseudo grain waits for example with an extraordinarily high portion of ballast materials as well as alpha Linolensure (Omega 3 fatty acid) and Linolsure (Omega 6 fatty acid) on. Both are unsaturated fatty acids, which are of great importance in the transmission of stimuli between the organism and the brain. Since dogs cannot produce these important, health-promoting fatty acids themselves, however, they are dependent on the supply through the food.
Furthermore, amaranth contains a high proportion of lecithin. This multi-talent is particularly important for nerve and brain function and for a healthy cholesterol balance. In addition, this grain of the Inca provides a wealth of minerals (magnesium, calcium, etc.), trace elements (zinc, iron, potassium, etc.) and vitamins - more than in real and conventional cereals or comparable other foods.
With an almost perfect amino acid profile, amaranth also tops almost all comparable grains and thus provides all amino acids that are essential for dogs - with an extremely high biological value. The protein content is an incredible 15 percent. A study confirms that amaranth is the ideal additional source of protein for a meat-free diet, for example.
Speaking of meatless: L-carnitine, which is normally only found in meat, is also found in the amaranth plant. Thus the L-Carnitin needed for the energy and fat metabolism from the food is likewise made available to the body by it.
Finally, the hearty duck meat in our dog cookies is a great treat for the palate. But that's not all: this so-called "single-protein" quality is highly accepted by dogs, as it comes closest to natural nutrition. At the same time, this diet is also easily digestible.
But what exactly is the commonly used term "single-protein diet" in connection with pet food? Protein, as we all know, is another term for protein. Single protein therefore stands for a single protein building block and not for several mixed protein building blocks.
Food in Single Protein quality therefore contains only one type of meat and thus corresponds in our opinion to 100% of a natural diet in nature. Because also the wolf, from which the dog descends, feeds exclusively on one kind of meat. If it tears for example a deer, it eats exclusively deer meat. Also in the stomach contents of the deer there is no pork, beef or lamb, but only grasses and cereals. With a natural meal the wolf eats thus always only one kind of meat. A high-quality diet in single protein quality therefore comes closest to a natural diet for dogs.
Salmon oil and a special herb mix round out the nutritional profile of each CBD dog cookie. This is important, because salmon oil is, among other things, an important Omega-3 supplier and the herb mix, which consists of rosemary, parsley, parsnips, lovage, carrots and ground apple, promotes the health of your faithful friend in many ways. Among other things, it supports the health of the gastrointestinal tract, bladder, kidneys and nervous system. At the same time, the metabolism is supported, a lot of vital substances are supplied and the coat is maintained. Your four-legged friend will love the CBD dog cookies.
